EncDiary was created for people who want to record thoughts, emotions, progress and personal development in a more protected digital environment.

What the project is trying to do

EncDiary is meant to combine privacy, structure and empathy. It is not built as a loud social platform, but as a calmer place for notes, self-reflection, development processes and optional community exchange.

The project is especially relevant for trans people, queer people and others who may need a more private place for identity, transition, health, appointments, progress or everyday experiences.

How privacy is approached

EncDiary does not promise perfection. Instead, it follows a privacy-by-design approach: diary content is protected, security mechanisms are built into the application, and data collection is intentionally reduced.

Private diary areas and public community areas are intentionally separated so users can decide what stays private and what becomes part of a conversation.
